*Español abajoSaturday, April 17th at 8pm in Spectacle, discordiafilms will be hosting a benefit show to help fund relief efforts in the aftermath of the February 27th earthquake that struck central Chile. Donations will help artists we have collaborated with in the past, specifically Chimba Lab in Santiago, whose space was badly damaged. The event will be the northern hemisphere premier of VideoNorte, a selection of experimental shorts by artists residing in New England and New York, which is currently touring Argentina and Chile. We will also be showing experimental videos from Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Please join us in solidarity with people in Chile by helping us get the word out, and come see this fantastic line up of experimental shorts!

El sábado 17 de abril en Spectacle, discordiafilms realizará una muestra benéfica para ayudar a financiar esfuerzos de reconstrucción en Chile. Las donaciones ayudarán a los artistas que han colaborado con discordiafilms en el pasado, específicamente a Chimba Lab en Santiago, cuyo espacio fue dañado por el sismo. Como el programa VideoNorte nunca se ha mostrado en el hemisferio norte, hemos decidido mostrar el programa entero esa noche. Por favor ayúdanos solidarizar con la gente en Chile difundiendo este evento, y ven a ver esa selección de videos experimentales que ahora está en tour en el Sur (Argentina y Chile).*discordiafilms es un colectivo curatorial que se enfoca en el intercambio y programación de videos experimentales entre artistas emergentes trabajando en las Américas.**Spectacle se encuentra en 17 Edinboro Street #3 en Chinatown, Boston. Funciona como un espacio de performance colaborativo para la música y las artes visuales.
