Immigration Organizing Meeting
Working together with the help of God to turn strangers into our neighbors
Date: February 28 (Sunday)
Time: 3 – 5 PM
Place: Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption - the meeting will be held in the school across Second Street from the main church; parking is next to the school
Theme: Building relational power on issues of immigration rights and reform
At the meeting we will:
· Deepen relationships among those working on immigration
· Root our immigration work in faith and scripture
· Share personal stories about immigration issues
· Begin to envision the power needed to address these issues
· Outline follow-up action steps
Translation: Language translation will be provided as needed

Directions & Parking: From New Bedford, take 195 West toward Fall River. Take the Plymouth/ Pleasant Streets exit and then the first exit (Plymouth Street). At the bottom of the ramp, take a left under 195 onto Plymouth Street and then a right at the light onto Rodman Street. Follow Rodman St up the hill and then take a right onto Second St and a right into the parking lot of St Mary’s school.
