WILD All-day Training of Trainers
Popular Education
WHAT:
In this full-day workshop we’ll examine the ideas behind how adults learn and present some tools and techniques to use in practicing effective adult education – education that is participatory, centered on learners and rooted in their experience. We will also look more deeply at popular education as education for social change, and consider how to apply it to our work with WILD and the unions and community groups we are members of.
WHO:
For women who have taught workshops before and want the opportunity to engage with the challenge of practicing popular education.
For women who are new to teaching, but want to learn how to teach adults.
For English and Spanish speakers
